Overview

The Lindgren Group offers Nitric Acid Passivation, Nitric & Sodium Dichromate, as well as Citric Acid Passivation to industries throughout the United States, and specializes in the Medical, Aerospace, and Defense Industries. Our Nadcap and ISO Certified facilities adhere to stringent process controls to insure repeatability in our processing of the most critical components. The Lindgren Group’s ability to Passivate all grades of stainless steel and titanium to virtually all specifications makes us the logical choice in metal finishers, while our on-site testing provide our customer’s the verification they need.

Application

Most common material to passivate is 300 series or 17-4 series type stainless steel. This process is done to clean impurities and other oxides from the material surface to help sterilize, sanitize, or clean the exposed surface.
