Federal Firearms License
Our Avtec and Nico facilities hold a Federal Firearms License (FFL). As outlined in the Gun Control Act of 1968, this license allows us to engage in the business pertaining to the manufacturing of firearms and ammunition or the interstate and intrastate sale of firearms.
ITAR Registered
The Lindgren Group is Certified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This set of United States government regulations control the export and import of defense-related articles and services on the United States Munitions List. This registration demonstrates that we fully comply with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations. It also shows that we have corporate procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance.
RoHS and REACH Compliant
We are Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and REACH compliant. Originated in the European Union, RoHS limits the use of specific toxic materials, namely lead, mercury, cadmium, Chromium VI, PBB, and PBDE. Compliant for Matte Tin, Zinc, Chromates, and Cadmium Free Lead Free Electroless Nickel. All of our finishes are available RoHS compliant.
REACH is a regulation adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risk that can be posed by chemicals. The Lindgren Group is fully compliant to this regulation.
