Avtec Finishing Systems, a division of The Lindgren Group, is pleased to announce the expansion of its New Hope, MN facility. Work on the expansion began September 14th, with completion anticipated Q1 of 2017. This latest expansion will add over 25,000 square feet to its existing building.
According to President Pete Waldo, “The Lindgren Group is focused on reinvesting in its business. This is another example of our work to help streamline plant flow and improve efficiencies, while creating a great work environment for our employees.”
As part of the project, the Shipping & Receiving department is being expanded to provide better truck access, more docks, and a dedicated area for deliveries/pickups being transported by smaller vehicles. In an effort to further differentiate ourselves in the market, the expansion plan also includes an investment in an onsite power source, minimizing or eliminating the impact that power outages can have on customer parts in-process and delivery dates. Other updates to the facility will improve safety, allow for future process expansion, and includes new conference and training rooms. Finally, enhanced employee facilities will create a better workplace environment for our number one asset, our valued staff.
